What is Elym?
Elym is a Christian faith companion that brings together Bible verses, original reflections, prayer, guided journeys, and faith-centered guidance in a calm daily experience.
Why is it called Elym?
The name is inspired by Elim in Exodus 15:27, an oasis encountered after a difficult part of the journey. The brand represents rest, renewal, living water, guidance, and continuing the journey with God.
Is Elym Catholic?
Elym has strong Christian and Catholic-compatible content, including seasonal journeys around Advent, Christmas, Lent, the Rosary, saints, Marian devotion, and traditional prayer. It is a personal faith companion rather than an official publication of a church authority.
What are Guided Journeys?
Guided Journeys are multi-day spiritual paths built around a theme or season. Each day can include Scripture, encouragement, prayer, a reflection, and practical next steps.
Does Elym include seasonal content?
Yes. Journeys can unlock at meaningful times of the year, including Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Holy Week, feast days, and other important moments in the Christian calendar.
What kind of personal guidance is available?
Elym can present guidance in different voices: The Guide for gentle direction, The Teacher for deeper biblical wisdom, The Comforter for empathetic support, and The Elder for firm, experienced counsel.
Can Elym help when I am anxious, lonely, grieving, or struggling?
Elym includes faith-centered content for real-life struggles such as anxiety, loneliness, grief, relationships, self-worth, spiritual dryness, anger, health concerns, and loss of purpose. It is spiritual support, not a replacement for qualified professional care.
What languages will Elym support?
Elym is being developed with English, Spanish, and Portuguese content.
Will the app include prayers?
Yes. Elym includes original prayers connected to Scripture and journeys, and the Discover area is designed to include traditional prayers such as the Our Father, Hail Mary, and Guardian Angel prayer.
Will Elym include audio or video?
The Discover experience is designed to grow beyond written content. Audio, video, and other faith resources can be added as the library expands.
Will Elym be free?
The long-term vision is to make Elym broadly accessible, while sustainable funding may come from subscriptions, supporters, donors, organizations, or other funding models. Exact availability and pricing will be shown when finalized.
When will Elym be available?
Elym is currently being prepared for its first public release. This website will be updated as launch availability is finalized.
